As a resident of Buckeye for almost 20 years, our family has dedicated themselves to serving people because people are the priority. I have worked passionately for the residents of Buckeye during my tenure in office and believe there is still work to be done.

We need to steward our water portfolio, prioritize public safety, maintain fiscal responsibility and transparency, and, importantly, guide fast-paced growth. I will continue to work on infrastructure and jobs and create policies that encourage growth in the right places.

Public Safety Highlights:

  • Newly constructed training facility and evidence building.

  • Broke ground on a new public safety communications center (opening early 2025)

  • Broke ground on a new fire station 707 in Blue Horizon on Yuma (Opening in early 2025).

  • Brand new fire truck located at the Fire Station #702 in Sundance.

  •  Police Flock Systems was purchased and is in place to assist with stolen vehicles.

Water Highlights:

Additional water sources were acquired and approved, and more water connections continue to be built throughout the city.

  • Jackie Meck Water Campus Completed

  • Securing 8,000-acre feed of water Hassayampa Basin (summer 2024)

  • Farralon Water Campus (Opening in 2025)

Job Creation Highlights:

  • Kore Power – 3,000 jobs (2025)

  • Ross – 1,300 jobs (2024)

  • APS Hubwest – 250 jobs (2023)

  • Now open: Costco, Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers, Macayo's, Black Rock, Craftsman Cocktail and Kitchen, Taco’s Chilango, Epiphany Dermatology, Gelato Tavern, Café Zupa, and more!

Fiscal Accomplishments:

For five years in a row, Buckeye has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, the highest form of recognition for governmental accounting and financial reporting. The city was also awarded an AA+ Municipal Bond Rating. The factors considered in assessing a bond rating include the city’s tax base, overall economic health, financial adaptability, and the city’s management practices and policies.


